Tribal Prince

Sadly Tribal Prince broke a fetlock on the gallops preparing for his last race of 2003. He had run for our syndicate of 11 owners for five seasons by then. Prince taught me a lot about racehorses and racing. Lessons which you will not get from books or from jockeys, trainers or pundits on the TV. Insights into the nature of horses that may lead them to race in a certain way.

He was an above average 7 furlong handicapper on the track but much better on the home gallops. He baffled some of his jockeys and frustrated his trainer but he was an interesting and rewarding horse to own. Click here for his

I shall tell you about Tribal Prince and the things he taught me soon.
